What Dungeons & Dragons Character Would You Be?

Hubby found this online.

I Am A: True Neutral Human Fighter/Sorcerer (3rd/2nd Level)

Ability Scores:

Strength-10

Dexterity-12

Constitution-11

Intelligence-14

Wisdom-13

Charisma-11

Alignment:
True Neutral A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most true neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil after all, he would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, he's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some true neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. True neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion. However, true neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it represents apathy, indifference, and a lack of conviction.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Primary Class:
Fighters can be many things, from soldiers to criminal enforcers. Some see adventure as a way to get rich, while others use their skills to protect the innocent. Fighters have the best all-around fighting capabilities of the PC classes, and they are trained to use all standard weapons and armor. A fighter's rigorous martial training grants him many bonus feats as he progresses, and high-level fighters have access to special melee maneuvers and exotic weapons not available to any other character.

Secondary Class:
Sorcerers are arcane spellcasters who manipulate magic energy with imagination and talent rather than studious discipline. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will. Sorcerers know fewer spells than wizards do and acquire them more slowly, but they can cast individual spells more often and have no need to prepare their incantations ahead of time. Also unlike wizards, sorcerers cannot specialize in a school of magic. Since sorcerers gain their powers without undergoing the years of rigorous study that wizards go through, they have more time to learn fighting skills and are proficient with simple weapons. Charisma is very important for sorcerers; the higher their value in this ability, the higher the spell level they can cast.

Find out What Kind of Dungeons and Dragons Character Would You Be?, courtesy of Easydamus (e-mail)

Guess it ain't gonna happen

Well, it looks like we've been missed by the typhoon. It made a more northerly turn, so the most we'll get is some rain and wind. Apparently, it won't be bad since everyone is to go back to work tomorrow. Paul is supposedly 'on call' but we'll see how that works out. Tomorrow is his birthday, so I hope that it works out that he doesn't have to work. He had to work all day today even though the entire base was essentially shut down. I am only suppose to work 4 hours tomorrow, so I hope that it will really be that way....who knows since we'll have to get everything back to normal so we can open tomorrow. Well, I guess I'll go for now......

Still waiting

Well, I'm still waiting for the storm. The winds should be getting to the island sometime tonight. Right now, it's just cloudy with the occassional peek through of the sun and it's humid. I went out earlier and did a little video taping. I'm not really sure how it turned out. I'll review it later. I'm hoping once Paul gets home, I'll be able to get him to be in it. It will be better that way. :) Later!

What a way to start the week

It looks like tomorrow we'll be buckling down and preparing for Typhoon Kong-Rey (right now, it's still only a tropical storm, but they are expecting it to change over the next 24 hours). I guess tomorrow at work, we'll be preparing the library for the storm as well.

It's Friday night.....

.....and I have to work tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to it. Saturdays always seem to go by so slowly......whether I do alot of work or not. I have a ton of things to do, so I'm not sure what I'll do (catalog, compare book conditions or work on stuff from the front office? Hmmmm, choices, choices, choices).

I want to write about our trip to Australia and post some pictures, but with me being busy and my laptop being sent into the shop, well.....it just hasn't happened. I will do it......I just don't know when.

Well, I guess I should be heading to bed; early day tomorrow.

Friday

Well, it's the end of my work week. I hope today goes well. My plan is to do nothing but catalog today. :) I'd like to get alot out to the front so we have new stuff going out. We'll see how it goes. I've cleaned up my desk quite a bit, but there still tons of stuff I don't know what is.....I'll go through it today as I believe it is probably partly cataloged already, but we'll see. Well, must get going....oh yeah, pictures from the land of Oz coming very soon.

Back from vacation

Paul and I got back from Australia early Friday morning. We've been trying to catch up on all things since we've been back. We stocked up the fridge again and did the laundry and so on. Tomorrow it's back to work.....yuck. Oh well....that's the way it goes.

I hope to get caught up with all the internet stuff, but that's going to take a while....and I want to post some pictures from our trip too. I hope to have it done by next weekend.

Later!

My day off

It never fails, everytime I read Wil Wheaton's blog I become inspired to write. I come up with all these great ideas, but most of them turn out crap. I may try to write one a little later today. Right now, I'm baking cookies......Monster Cookies to be exact. Paul loves them and he's been wanting them for quite some time. I'm going to make 2 batches. I'm nearly done with batch #1.....then comes all the combining of ingredients of batch #2. I don't think I'll have them all done by the time he gets home from work though.....he should be home by 1 or so today.

Okay....off to take them out of the oven.........

You enjoy time with others but also time alone. You can be very easily upset, even by what most people consider the normal demands of living. People consider you to be extremely sensitive and emotional. A desire for tradition does not prevent you from trying new things. Your thinking is neither simple nor complex. To others you appear to be a well-educated person but not an intellectual. You have a strong interest in others' needs and well-being. You are pleasant, sympathetic, and cooperative.
Sunday evening

I'm still sick. I've been running a fever on and off since Thursday. I was hoping taking it easy and taking Tylenol would help, but it's not. I'm trying to hold off on making an appointment, but we'll see what happens.

Tomorrow is Super Bowl Monday.....yeah, I said that right.....Monday. Here are Guam the Super Bowl airs at 9am Monday morning. I can't remember what the library was like last year during Super Bowl, but hopefully it will be slow, but we'll see.

I don't feel like writing a whole lot......my head is killing me, I feel weak, my eyes are extremely watery and I'm so ready for sleep (I even took a nap this afternoon). Oh well....as long as I'm better before Feb. 25th.........that's the day we leave for Australia.

Later!

Paul and I said our I Do's at a place Wedding Services in downtown San Antonio. It was a really small affair.....only my parents, sister, her fiancee' Brian, my little bro and Paul's parents, his brother and his girlfriend were there. It was the best day of my life. I'm looking forward to another 17 years and more with Paul.........

It's a new year

Our new year started off rather uneventful. We stayed up until midnight gaming....one of our favorite pasttimes. It will be nice when we can get a group together and game in person, but I'm betting it won't happen until we get back to the states. There is this one guy here we gamed with once, but that was the weekend of Thanksgiving, so who knows....we'll just have to see.

I haven't made any resolutions.....and don't plan to. I never stick to them anyway, so why bother. I'll just do what I can to be a good person and try to stay healthy. I guess that's all anybody can do really.

I have comprised a list of books I read and movies I saw in 2006:

The Books:
Septimus Heap, Book I: Magick - Angie Sage
Septimus Heap, Book II: Flyte - Angie Sage
Owly: The Way Home & The Bittersweet Summer - Andy Runter
Owly: Just A Little Blue - Andy Runter
Kiss Me Like A Stranger: My Search For Love and Art - Gene Wilder
Find Me - Rosie O'Donnell
Second Summer of the Sisterhood - Ann Brashares
Girls In Pants: the Third Summer of the Sisterhood - Ann Brashares

The Movies:
Van Helsing
Fever Pitch
Spanglish
Flightplan
Fun With Dick and Jane
Inside Man
Elizabethtown
The Mummy
Last Holiday
Hoodwinked
Alexandra's Project
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
Beauty Shop
Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
Sabrina (original)
Stonebrook
Key Largo
The Maltese Falcon
Pirates of the Carribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Date Movie
Psycho
Office Space
Mean Girls
Citizen Kane
The Corpse Bride
Basic
My Super Ex-Girlfriend
40 Year Old Virgin
Ultraviolet
Aeon Flux
King Kong
Spinal Tap
Anchorman
Fried Green Tomatoes
V For Vendetta
Madagascar
Nanny McPhee
Daddy Day Care
50 First Dates
A Cinderella Story
Clockwork Orange
Hackers
Swimming Pool
Atlantis: The Lost Empire (Disney)
Scarface
Eye Of The Beholder
Mask Of The Vampire
Lost In Translation
Stranger Than Fiction
Monster House
X-Men 3: The Last Stand
The Devil Wears Prada

Well, I guess I'd better go for now......there is a slight possibility we are fixing to lose power (our lights dimmed for a few seconds)......and wouldn't that be nice...NOT!!!

Later!

It's Sunday

Today we are getting together with a couple of people and game. Should be pretty cool. First though, we are heading to the BX again....I have a 20% off coupon that is only good today, so I gotta use it. :) I don't know what I'm going to buy, though.

I'm off tomorrow since I have to work next Saturday, so I'm going to be doing a little bit of Christmas shopping for Paul. I saw something yesterday I think he's really going to like....I just hope that it's still there when I go back.

Paul has put a down payment on our trip to Australia. I can hardly wait to go. I've been wanting to visit Australia since I was a little kid.

Ain't much else going on here.......

Thanksgiving

Today didn't start out so well. I woke up at 4am with a pounding headache. Paul and I got up and finished cleaning, then started in on the beginning of fixing Thanksgiving Dinner. I stayed up until 6am, then went back to bed for a while, and was back up at 8am to help finish preperations for dinner. Paul had done alot of things by the time I got back up.

George, Emie and Neka came over about noon, and for some reason the turkey wasn't quite ready, but we hung out, watched some Xena and talked. It was nice. We finally got to eat around 2, and the food was great! Emie made homemade stuffing....awesome! And her green bean casserole was awesome too! The turkey turned out good and the ham that Emie brought was great too. It was sooooo nice to actually have dinner with others on a special day.

After dinner we played some Texas Hold 'Em. I didn't do so well, but it was fun. We're hoping to get together again sometime.

Tomorrow morning (tired or not) I'm going to the BX. It's their Day After Thanksgiving Sale....I'm hoping to find some good deals before I have to be at work at 8.

Well, I guess I'll do some surfing now in hopes that I'll get sleepy........

Ugggghhhh!!!!

It's so frustrating to be in the middle of reading a great fan fiction story and have the site go down on you right in the middle! I was reading this wonderful Lianca (Lena and Bianca from All My Children, for those of you who don't know what Lianca is) story and once I got done reading a wonderfully beautiful part, I hit the next page and .......nothing! I tried refreshing.....then ctrl+refreshing.....and NOTHING!! Oh, I'm so upset. I figured out that it's Ezboard that's having the problems. I do hope that it will be back up once I get back from taking Paul to his appointment today. Oh well.....I'll just have to wait.....and I guess I can do that. I do have another fan fic that I have saved that I'll read while I'm waiting for Paul; maybe that will hold me over until I can finish reading It Must Be.

Can you believe that I am so tempted to go back to watching All My Children? I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't watch AMC again until either one of two things happened.....1) Lena Kundera returned (played by Olga Sosnovska, but at this point, I would go with just the character returning) or 2) Megan McTavish wasn't the head writer for the show anymore. Now, the 2nd one looks more likely to happen. I've found little whispers on the net that she's out as of November.....and if that's true.....then I'll go back to watching AMC. I know that McTavish has ruined alot of the characters that I loved so much, but the bright spot is.....Eden Reigel (Bianca) has returned. I've always like Bianca. Right now, I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping that McTavish is gone.....and praying that whoever they are going to be bringing in to follow her is much better.

Okay, it's time to take Paul ot his appointment.

what a day

Well, I bowled for Services SQ this morning......and even though I haven't bowled in 3 years, I did pretty well...almost to where I was 3 years ago. I really need my own ball and shoes. I think I'm going to be doing that here in the next week or so. One thing though......my achilles heels are killing me. I can barely walk! I'm not sure exactly what I've done, but it must have happened when I was bowling. I hope I feel better tomorrow.

I have a 3 day weekend this weekend.....very nice......but it would be even better if Paul was off as well. Oh well.....that's the way it goes. I plan on doing alot of reading and watching movies this weekend. I guess I'll also have to mow the lawn and stuff this weekend too.

Later!!
