Well, it's the end of my work week. I hope today goes well. My plan is to do nothing but catalog today. :) I'd like to get alot out to the front so we have new stuff going out. We'll see how it goes. I've cleaned up my desk quite a bit, but there still tons of stuff I don't know what is.....I'll go through it today as I believe it is probably partly cataloged already, but we'll see. Well, must get going....oh yeah, pictures from the land of Oz coming very soon.

I had planned on writing a long entry, but I'm tired. I'll definately write about it tomorrow at some point, though. We just got back from seeing Eragon....good movie. Now, I need to finish reading the book. Well, time for bed....

Today didn't start out so well. I woke up at 4am with a pounding headache. Paul and I got up and finished cleaning, then started in on the beginning of fixing Thanksgiving Dinner. I stayed up until 6am, then went back to bed for a while, and was back up at 8am to help finish preperations for dinner. Paul had done alot of things by the time I got back up.

George, Emie and Neka came over about noon, and for some reason the turkey wasn't quite ready, but we hung out, watched some Xena and talked. It was nice. We finally got to eat around 2, and the food was great! Emie made homemade stuffing....awesome! And her green bean casserole was awesome too! The turkey turned out good and the ham that Emie brought was great too. It was sooooo nice to actually have dinner with others on a special day.

After dinner we played some Texas Hold 'Em. I didn't do so well, but it was fun. We're hoping to get together again sometime.

Tomorrow morning (tired or not) I'm going to the BX. It's their Day After Thanksgiving Sale....I'm hoping to find some good deals before I have to be at work at 8.

Well, I guess I'll do some surfing now in hopes that I'll get sleepy........

Paul and I got a later start to the day than we normally do. I made us breakfast tacos, and then we got ready to head down to Big Navy to do a little shopping. Unfortunately we never made it down there since the police had Marine 1 blocked; we'll just go tomorrow. We did go to KMart and I got some new shoes (something I've needed for quite some time) and then headed home. I'm off tomorrow, so after we drop Paul's truck at the shop we'll head down to Big Navy and so some shopping. Oh yeah.....I almost forgot....I was finally able to pick up Season 4 of Gilmore Girls!

We watched Mean Girls last night. I really liked it.....so did Paul.....so I guess we'll be buying the DVD eventually.

it's just been a bad day.....migraine and my favorite time of the month

Paul went back to work tonight after being off for 3 days. It was really nice to spend alot of time with him.......I just wish I had felt better (it's my favorite time of the month!). Thursday went down to the Navy base to look around. We ended up buying the game We Love Khatamari. We didn't play it until this afternoon though.....and it's fun. :)

While we were out Thursday, I got a phone call......yes, the library finally called me and I interviewed for the job on Friday. I got the job, now all I have to do is wait for NAF HRO to call me so I can begin in processing. I'm guessing that won't be happening until after Thanksgiving, but we shall see. I'm just glad I have a job.....and I'm looking forward to begin work.

On Friday, after my interview, we went down to the beach. We hadn't been in a while, so I was looking forward to it. We had picked up some snorkling gear on Thursday, so it was going to be an adventure........at least for me, as I'm not a great swimmer and I'm quite afraid of the water.

Saturday we had planned on going to see the new Harry Potter film, but the first 3 showings were sold out and Paul had to get back on his sleeping schedule for work, so we decided we'd just go next weekend.....Paul is off 3 days again. Other than that, I'm not sure what else we'll be doing next weekend.

I'm am happy about getting the job, and am looking forward to starting. I want to start making money so that I can save up for the trips we want to take while we are here on Guam. Plus, starting work before Christmas will help with the present buying, too.

Well, it's time for me to get going.........
